I am wandering in the desert, Jesus, and I’m feeling weak.  The sun is so hot, and my lips are parched with thirst.  I long for the cool shade, and the tall grass where I can lie down and listen to the stream rushing past me.  I yearn to splash my face with cold, clear water, and drink from the refreshing springs until I can drink no more.  My Lord, I am lost in the wilderness: come find me, take my hand, and lead me home.  Guide my steps to the Living Waters, where you will fill my soul with your presence, pour your love into my heart, and replace my fear and selfishness with trust in you and compassion for everyone whom I meet.  Take me, my Jesus, and make me what you know I can be!
